Megan McGarry Bouapha

Megan is Associate Director of the SSS & ASAP programs and advises CeO Scholars. She’s earned a B.A. in Spanish and an M.S. Ed in Student Affairs Administration from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, and has been with the CeO since 2011. Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling to Hawai’i to visit family, and consuming all methods of entertainment and music.

Fun Fact:

Megan is a fan of Korean Dramas and Kpop group, BTS (Borahae ARMY!).

Five things you should know to understand me:

• My partner and I have three cats, Chonkers, Furiosa, and Mr. Meowgi.
• I am also know as Auntie Megan to my nieces and nephews.
• I am openly queer and believe in affirming you and all your identities.
• I identify as multi-racial/mixed race/biracial and am Yonsei Uchinanchu (4th generation Okinawan).
• We are all human and deserve compassion and understanding, and I advise with that in the forefront of my mind.
