Chee Yang (she/her) earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies and Certificate in Public Policy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison) and shortly after, her Master in Public Affairs from the UW-Madison La Follette School of Public Affairs. She is from Milwaukee, and her passion lies in education services and policy. She enjoys building trust-based relationships students, helping them identify their strengths and goals, and co-developing comprehensive plans for success. Outside of work, she enjoys biking around town, binging television shows with her dog, and going back home to visit family (more specifically, her ten year old brother).
Fun Fact:
Like many Hmong members of our community, Chee immigrated to the United States following the Secret War. In her work, she places a strong emphasis on cultural competence and understanding the lived experiences of her students.
